December 29, 2025
LUZERNE COUNTY – Rep. Brenda Pugh (R-Luzerne) today announced the Wyoming Avenue Development Group LLC will receive $1.7 million in state funding through Pennsylvania’s Multimodal Transportation Fund to support an economic project in Luzerne County.
“This funding represents a strong investment in local infrastructure and economic growth,” Pugh said. “By supporting development, this project will help create jobs and strengthen our regional economy.”
Pugh noted that investments in infrastructure are critical to supporting businesses, attracting private investment and ensuring communities remain competitive.
The funding comes from the Multimodal Transportation Fund under the Commonwealth Financing Authority, which is responsible for administering the state’s economic development programs. The fund provides grants to support projects that improve transportation safety, promote economic development, and enhance the quality of life for residents across Pennsylvania.
