Pugh to Host Boating Certification Course

LUZERNE –Rep. Brenda Pugh (R-Luzerne), in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, is giving boaters in the 120th Legislative District an opportunity to brush up on their knowledge of boating regulations and requirements. The Boating Certification Course is scheduled to take place this Saturday, June 13, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Francis Slocum State Park Education Center, 565 Mt. Oliver Road, Wyoming.

The course is designed for first-time or seasoned boaters, 11 years of age or older, looking to brush up their skills on boating regulations and requirements. Those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. A certification exam will be taken at the conclusion of the course.
